in the game because they took the time to develop the gun :)
PS: i especially like the "shoots slugs instead of Buck" that sounds awesome and will make the scattergun become a long range gun.

secondly, I don't think any of you realize how crippling slowed reload speed would be.
If you ever used the BFB pre-nerf you would know that smaller clips effectively reduce the amount of shots the player puts out, without the player feeling cheated.
if you are already using slugs why do you need accuracy? That (basically) makes this function like the spy's pistol
also I would change the name because it's too long. I like it but it doesn't quite roll off the tongue.
with those caveats aside, I think you peeps have a good plan here.
+40% more accurate
-33% ammo capacity
+15% damage falloff rate
I believe that increased damage falloff would prevent this from becoming too long range while remaining true to the skill based feel.
protip: if you can deal significant damage between 2 players standing on opposite sides of the 2fort sniper barracks, the weapon is long-range. make sure this gun can't do that.

-35% reloading speed
+Weapon reload spead increases as health decreases
reload speed increases up to +30%
-only has 4 shots
-shoots slugs instead of bullets
-20% more damage
-10% slower firing speed
-5% slower movement speed while deployed
-no random critical hits
-15%slower reload speed
so that you kinda are forced to use your pistol when you need to reload
and you have an advantage in scout v scout but since you shoot slower you will rely on your damage and health gained back to keep fighting
