2. Slower growing.
3. Pre adult leveling, only speed stamina and health.
4. Ability to level them up when they are small, cutsom levels that are added as extra stats and levels to the adult animal.
5. The option to have them follow you around.
6. Colors and other traits matches the adult dino.
but being able to hatch the actual eggs to random colored dinos , maybe also random lvls , that would be tamed right away is already really cool !
to not forget that their also growing wich is sweet, and totally missing ingame , the game needs more natural behaviour like nests and group or predator like IA for some dinos
Are they not already? I thought that was the purpose of the nests for each of them?
Anyway I think this is a great mod, but I would like to see dinos not grow up to be level 50 straight off. I understand how it could be useful, but if I'm going to hatch a dino I'd like to be able to raise it from level 1 so I can choose it's specialty without relying on the randomness of dinos encountered through the normal means. That's just my thought on it anyway, please continue the great work!
Edit: Just read your comment about the limits of the Dev kit and I understand entirely. Gotta work with what you've got available, and I think you are doing a fine job of that.
+ for that, already tamed babies would be a very good idea. Who want's a baby alpha if you know it will rek you xD
Please make the use (e) key availible when inventory is open.
Thanks
Me
eg. random go on and off wander, change between nutral, passiv and so on.
+ for tamed when babies
exactly
Interesting. I'd play that, but I'm more of the mindset of:
1) Neutral from hatch/birth. Still need taming, but non violently.
2) Much slower growing (can potentially speed up with dino food)
3) Baby dino foods.
4) The taming/training of the dino adds levels through taming effectiveness. Possbly though multiple stages. ("tame" the animal well as a baby and/or adolecent to get higher level dinos)
5) Keep the stats randomized until adulthood leveling. (Just to make it easier)
6) Ignored dinos can go hostile.
7) Babies follow the nearest player. (Is it possible? Would be amazing)
No need for 40 baby foods. A couple for the carnivores, herbavores, and carrions would be fine. Maybe even require that they eat baby food, and make the lowest level foods simple crafting. Meat + fiber in a mortar and pestle for example.
TL:DR Give me a reason and the ability to interact with the babysaurs. Watching them is not enough! Hand feeding can be both fun and useful. + baby food and slow growth
