Official Bugs/Issues Thread
Hello!

If you notice any nagging bugs or issues with this game, post them here and I'll update the mod as soon as I can.



KNOWN BUGS (fixable):

-Distant Suns and Final Frontier tokens have some bleed from the hidden face on the border, allowing players to see whether it's a good or bad marker before flipping. As a temporary fix, the tokens have been shaded a dark green color.




NOT FIXING:

-There's one teeny-tiny polygon on the Ground Force base that wasn't textured and is transparent, but I'm not gonna fix that little detail.

-The War Sun model looks like a wad of colorful crayon poop, but you know what? It's functional, it's hollow like the real one, and it rolls like the plastic when it's flipped over!

-Some thin pieces (leaders, cards, etc.) can fall through hexes on occasion. This is a glitch with TTS itself, and can only be remedied with more objects/thickness below the tiles. A custom frame was built and placed under the main board to prevent this from happening, and so far it seems to work.



FIXED:

-Home Systems are slightly larger than the board hexes currently dealt out. Simply shrink them by scaling them down ("_" key). (Fixed in Update 9)

-There weren't any Figher/Ground Force tokens; tokens created by Ghuul were added. (Fixed in Update 10)

-There are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of oversized dice trays in one of the green player's piece tray. (Someone chucked them there during a game and I saved the gamestate.) (Fixed in Update 11)

I just fixed the Hone System sizing issue and moved it to "Fixed".

If there are any other oddities you notice during gameplay, let me know and I'll update accordingly.

Hey, I got a new dell tower with windows 10, and was trying to load your mod when the game crashed. I have tried multiple times to load the origional, in which it would get to 514 out of 517 mods loaded before crashing. I used to play on a eight year old, windows 7 hp, and switched to this windows 10 dell. My sons Asus with windows 10 works, and I have the crash reports. What would be the best course of action here? I love TI, and would love to play this mod again.

Let me reload and see what 514 matches up to - it may simply be a large file that's blowing past some arbitrary memory limit.

After reloading it, the game loads up normally for me - Assets 514 appear to be the race cards, but after a few seconds, they load as needed.

Do you have "Mod Caching" disabled in your Confirguation menu? I have this off (unselected) by default as it has led to crashes and conflicts with assets in the past.

Consider testing the mod with the Mod Caching off and on, and see if either setting will work. If it doesn't, report back here and I'll be happy to help get this up and running for you in any way I can.

I did the unthinkable.... i updated my video card driver!! it works now. Thank you for your help!

In going through the components to set up the game, the Planet card for Maluuk, one of the home planets for the Naalu, seems to be missing. It isn't in the Race-specific bag or in the planets deck. I'm sure this is a small item to fix.

Also, there seems to be some base game Action and Political cards missing as I separated the piles and got 58 Political cards when the rule book says 60 and 96 Action cards against an expected 103, again according to the rule book. This might need a double check as I don't know if things may have been added or removed to accomodate all the expansions.

Going through the deck, I found that the Political cards that are missing from the base game are Official Sanction and Open the Trade Routes. I'll post again what Action cards are missing.

The following cards are missing from the Action deck: Ghost Ship, Ruinous Tariffs, Star of Death, and Direct Hit! (x4). These are the only things I've found missing from the base game.

I can`t find trade agreement cards. Where are they? Or are they missing?

They should be included with the rest of the cards included with each race.

The stack with the flagships, representatives and racial techs should include the trade agreements as well.

Thank you for all the work in getting the inventory checked on these, by the way. Apologies it took so long to acknowledge, but I'm going to look into this and see what I can do to fix the issue.

Actually Ghost Ship & Star of Death are in the Shards of the Throne action cards as replacement cards, and Ruinous Tariffs & Direct Hit! (x4) in the SE action cards.
Therefore actually no card is missing. If you want to play a game with the base game only, still shuffle the abovementioned cards into the action cards deck.

Again Open the Trade Routes is in the SE political cards as replacement card. But Official Sanction is really missing, so please fix it.

Hello, initial load fails to load custom models, the URLs to Dropbox are HTTP 400 or 404 responses.
