Umm... If it has a landmine on it, then maybe it should work like Caber, but for pyro?

- | -25% damage penalty
- | -10% swing speed
+ | On succesful hit: explodes, killing nearby players
+ | Explosion can destroy enemy stickies and/or sappers
* | After exploding once has to recharge (30 seconds, maybe less)
OR
* | After exploding once can only be recharged via ressuply cabinet

That could be a nice addition to PyBro subclass.
Also, it would be another weapon (after detonator) that could make pyro fly. Like caber

On a succesful hit: Explodes and deal 175 Damage to nearby enemies
On kill: you heal 25% faster from any source of healing for 3 seconds
On kill: gain a speed boost for 3 seconds

After explosion: a kill recharges the explosion
You take 75 damage on a succesful hit
-20% Damage
15% Slower movement speed on wearer while weapon is active
I think it should be a reskin for the homewrecker

but tf2 have the homewrecker and 1 reskin of the homewrecker :v we only need 1 weapon+reskin

I really like this idea.
Ullapool Caber for Pyro? You know, back when it was good.

Mai idea :3

Positives:

Alt-Fire places a Land Mine that detonates whenever an enemy steps on it (Diguised/Cloaked Spies are the exception). Only one Land Mine can be active at one time. This Mine would re-use the skin of the Nail Grenade (a scrapped weapon for the Soldier; you can view it on the Official TF2 Wiki). This Mine would deal around the same damage as 2 Sticky Bombs, and ignites anyone caught in the epicenter of the blast. After dropping the mine, the Wielder would have to wait until a meter fills back up. If the meter re-fills and the Mine has not exploded, it will dissapear. This Mine would also dissapear if the Wielder dies.

Negatives:

-50% Damage vs. Players
-25 Health

I would say caber-like only that it regens if it kills someone on that first swing.

Why not Spies in these cases? Is it supposed to be like the sentry's Spy detection system? (I still think this an amazing idea though. Have a fishy-stick.)

Well, not Spies for mainly one reason:

Pyros are enough of a counter to Spies as it is (Burn, baby, BURN), so I thought that they should at least have some fighting chance against them.

Mainly because, I was designing them with the idea that shooting them enough times could blow them up, allowing the attacker to pass by unopposed. If it detected Spies even when they were Cloaked/Disguised, they'd have to shoot them as well. Whether or not they could sap them would depend on whether or not the Mines would be considered "Buildings" in the game's code (for instance, the Spy's Sappers are apparently considered to be Buildings).

But the main reason is that if Spies couldn't fool the Mines with Cloaking/Disguising, then Pyros could simply drop a mine near his Engie's buildings, thus making them basically invulnerable to Spies.

P.S.

I dunno what a "Fishy-Stick" is, but thankies anyway :,D

AHHH! A VALID ARGUMENT! I'M NOT IN TF2 ANYMORE!! (Plus, "The fishy stick is a phenomenon began when Captain Eldrad joined the Bethesda Forums. 'The graphic used is from an advertisment for Captain Morgan’s rum, with a fish stick in place of the bottle of rum. In the beginning, fishy sticks were only given to those who truly deserved the honor, by Captain Eldrad himself. Later, his friend Soursha gave them away to new members. Eventually, it became customary to give fishy sticks to the newcomers of the forum. The Bethesda developers were very amused by all of this, and they added tributes to the fishy stick in both Morrowind and Oblivion.'")
