I've tried a few times to do something like this but the problem is the infinite scaling of WC, it can have pretty much unlimited guns each doing unlimited sorts of things, and I'm also kinda lost in the declarations there and I may get things very wrong xD
The WC mod authors should really provide a concise summary of what their gun does in the block's description, that would be way better than any automatic stats printing I might do.
Recently I've added (at the request of Darkstar because I've had no idea this was a thing) the WC-specific armor resistances for any block that might have it, that stuff is in the pre-release version of this mod.
Anyway, what sorts of things were you looking for in those files exactly, and got a link to some of these mods that don't describe their stuff?
I think things I was interested in were: Damage model+falloff, fire model, projectile speed(this is a big one), and AI mechanics like tracking range/rotation speeds.
What always got me was the block/type specific damage multipliers I ended up just throwing out anything related to light armor and use the heavy value.
