Operator's New weapon models/requests page (Pics of WW2 weapon models includid)
Hey everyone, my name is Ashley, aka Operator. I contacted Fenris and hit things off quite well with him, great guy super awesome.
I offered to do 3d modeling for the mod to update the 3d models in use as well as adding new guns to the group.
I have a strong passion for WW2 weapons and anything that goes boom in genral. so I will be doing a whole series of WW2 weapons and more.
all weapons will be low poly to prevent lag and make sure this mod can run on any computer.
here are the WW2 weapons I am working on right now. getting them properly positioned and sized for PZ right now. look forward to it!

Here is the test picture of the Johnson rifle. Fenrir replaced the m16 to test the model, looks impressive huh?

I have plans to help Fenris replaceing all weapons that do not have the proper models right now. Really looking forward to working with Fenris!

If you ahve any sugestions for weapons not in the mod please put them here, try to keep lists properly spaced so I can read them. IE
1: AK-47
2: MP-5N
3: FN-5.7
4: M-107
That kind of thing

hey thank you for the sugestions, i will let Fenris know. I think the P 90 might arleady be in there i need to check. that one might be harder to add if it isn't, the animations are not made for that style of gun sadly.

I believe the reason being for the lack of LMG's is that they are rare in the common public. not something thatw ould be easily found, same with .50 cal weapons.

If there is a large gun shop/range. It is possible they have a couple models actually. I been to a couple with even the barrett for rent.

Exspecially if outside city. But some high end ones have high caliber rangers under ground under their building. So thats still a possibility. But also it would be first spot people looted i admit. Im working on long list. Some might already be in... But not wanting to go threw all the lists to see whats already in. Just look at it as a second thank you already putting them in :-) Havent gone threw all the guns as really just started playing game.

Maybe the developer made them rare due to the lack of 3d models.
This is very, very wrong. LMG is the kings of the zombie apocalypse. Without them, it is difficult to imagine any war. No, I will definitely write Fenris and try to clarify this question. (Personally, I would like HMG.) HMG must be very rare I agree ... but not LMG).

I think you might be confused as to what an LMG vs HMG is. we are talking about the genral public, it is illegal for them to be owned in most states, you must have a special permit for an LMG to be privatly owned. I don't care if it's "king" of anything, they spit lead like crazy but they are not common finds in anyway, you won't raid your local gunstore and fine a m249 or m240bravo. what you will find are civilian weapons, hunting rifles and shot guns. even a poliece station will not in anyway be packing an LMG. they will have as most SWAT weapons, SMGs, AR's and shot guns.
The only hope of finding an LMG would be military locations.

I think this might be the reasoning behind them. I spoke to Fenris and he said even .50 cal weapons he wants to keep limited as they are not at all common especially military class .50's like the m107 or m98b

While i agree with you mostly... I do have to say I have gone to couple ranges that DID have LMG you could rent. Though ya it was like 1 in 100 ranges that had one lol

lol Lotos, The A10 intruders main weapons still a gun :-) Though Ild love see some one try to carry it lol

.50 on pickup would be a technic. But in MP could you imagine the fun?! Darn it now i want one!

So change of plans a bit, the first guns to be added will be the WW2 set listed a bove then new ones are possible.
