ORGM.ini file location for server / local host
Sorry I'm not understanding completely, in hosting a multiplayer game from my computer the options menu settings aren't changing compared to what I set in my solo game. The FAQ says "Zomboid\Lua\ORGM.ini file over to your server" and I've put that file in almost every location I can think of but it never shows the change taking effect in our game. Could someone clarify the location I should be placing this file?

The options should be the same, if your hosting from the same computer you originally set the options are. It should be reading the file from the exact same spot. The requirement to move the ORGM.ini is only required for dedicated servers running on a separate machine.
One thing to note is if your in MP when your in game you can not edit these options. Even if your hosting on the same computer your playing with.

Thanks for responding. I opened it up today and the values reset - like you said. Maybe I needed to restart the game first or something.

Also, can those values be decimal like 0.1 ? It doesn't seem like changing the reloading time has had much effect on it.

Some values can be, if a value is set to something invalid (ie: decimals when no decimals are allowed) it will either drop the decimal, or revert it to default values, depending on how invalid the setting is. Either way it does error check itself.
Unfortunatly, the reloading time options are currently non-functional, I messed up when I added them in. They're fixed for the next update though.

Awesome! Thanks again for the replies. Yeah I noticed on solo the decimals would revert back to default values but I didn't know if I was putting a # in wrong or anything.

Honestly the speed at level 10 of reloading is pretty realistic for someone who is well trained in loading magazines up. I wanted to just go around and blast some zombies, but it takes so long to get to level 10. I think default Zomboid kind of assumes most survivors are ignorant with no life experience as I find it's hard to set your skills (i.e. military training) in the game without modding/cheats.

Ya once you get to lvl 10 reloading you can hammer in those rounds pretty fast. But really reloading is actually pretty easy (and kind of exploitive) to level. Just walk around with a magazine feed firearm in hand, holding down the reload key as you go about your daily business. Ejecting and inserting the mag over and over getting piles of free xp just for holding the key. Practice makes perfect lol
