- I've tried HasPhysics, and collision box appear way too offset, and don't fit with a model :( This is result of unpleasing surprise, that light glare is tied with pivot point.
In my first model instead of glowing light, I got a glowing face >.< So I had to move the pivot, and then, do offset in sbc, which vanish collision. I think it's pretty fubar, so it's easier to make new block as lcd or sound block, +a light upgrade block :/
- That's reasonable :)
- I saw only two ways there, keep durability in cost of mass, or mass in cost of durability. I chose the first one. If there is a way to buff durability without adding mass, I'd gladly replace those steel plates :)
- That's result of my assumption. Interior is a main part that do the trick, and the only thing you see from inside, so I see no point of cutting it. Also it gives a multicolor feature, that I rly liked :) Duplication is caused coz base cockpit model got a ready interior behind glass (the old cockpit model was hollow inside), so I made assumption if devs keep it, it's not so critical :)
- About LCDs, it's another my small concept to deal with textpanels limit (if it still there, haven't test it yet) :) And it's not late :) I'm thinking about second set of upgrade blocks, with separated side lcds and sound block. Just need to decide how to combine them with existing ones.
1.) I would suggest removing the 2 in 1 screen blocks. From my experience and from what I've read, they tend to be more cumbersome that helpful. The seperate screens work far superiorly to the 2 in 1's. The speperate screens allow for easier configuration with Mmaster's Automatic LCD Configuration script. Where the 2 in 1 require lots of fine tuning and excessive amount of time doing so, or you end up with screens that are a hazard to an epileptic.
2.)I have noticed that there appears to be room for a programable block piece and a timer block piece. To keep it simple all you would have to do is just use the sloped angle piece you are already using for the physical representation of the other pieces. There's no need for the "screen" on the programable block (end up barrying it anyways), no the blinking of the timer block (barrys that too).
Once again I really enjoy this mod, and these are just suggestions. I hope this feedback will help you to continue to make great mods and continue to improve a game we have all grown to love.
