The majority of these races mainly make sense in Germania, Britania, Wendish Empire, Scandinavia, Fancia and Western Russia.
If you ever choose to expand upon this mod there are plenty of other races you can make for the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
Perhaps some Minotuars, Cyclops, Centaurs and Sea dragons for the old Roman and Greek held territories.
Scorpion Men, Desert Dragons and Djinn(Genies) for the Persian and Arabian territories.
Maybe Eastern Serphant Dragons and Asian goblins for the new Mongolia region opened up with the Horse Lords expansion.
Another idea if it wouldn't be too hard(I know nothing of modding) would be to merge this with your Gods mod. Have like the Olympian gods spread out across Greece and Italy. The Egyption Gods in Egypt, Germanic gods around Scandinavia and Germania with the creatures they're known to have been the patron/matron of as their vassles.
Heck, go a step further and set the game during the antquity era and add a bunch of famous heros that are storied to be demi-gods like Hercules.
Again. I have no idea how hard this would be to do, but there's just a crazy amount of potential and unlimited directions for you to take this.
All sound ideas! Once I get this more polished and a functioning magic and battle system, I will move onto adding more races.
@DOomInaBottle
I can do that for sure!
Ways to change your race, like the way you do Dragons.
Amazons: A female oriented culture/religion would be great.
Werewolf's: If you're wicked, cursed by a mage or bitten by a werewolf your gain this trait and once a month have a chance of accidentally killing or infecting some one in your court.
Vampires: Like werewolf's you can become one if you're cursed, infected, or very bad. Immortal but always loosing heath every year, must feed on others to restore health, and can infect others.
The ability to hire women to council positions if there from certain cultures, religions or have certain traits.
More Spells, of course. Maybe summon spells that allow you to add non-humans to your court.
More Potions, Love, Beauty, and Fertility just to name a few.
Invasions: If a Fantasy Culture dose not exists on the map then there will be a one time invasion of that culture in about 50 years.
Halflings in the British islands.
Ability to create undead courtiers.
Chance that non-humans will appear in the courts of human rules.
Human rulers can expel non-humans.
More half races. Helf Orcs, Half Trolls, Half Dragons to name a few.
Currently the Elves all share the exact same look, not much difference between them aside from religion and culture, unless this was the plan.
