ARK: Survival Evolved

ARK: Survival Evolved

Difficulty 50+
For using ark server manager
if you use ark server manager, what i did is

1. follow the guide (for me, the overwritemaxexp and all the statperlevel lines were there already for the server, however i still copied and pasted the example at the bottom anyways, this may or may not be what got it to work for me)

2. go to max exp slider, click on the box, and copy and paste from the table @MashhitDK provides for the correstponding thing (dont put player exp as dino, or vice versa) THIS STOPS IT FROM OVERWRITING YOUR .INI FILE. for player, it will look like 6.888283E+07 (for max level) after pasting and clicking out of the box

3. DO NOT enable custom level progression, as it will take precedent over the mod

NOTES:
there is a difficulty slider in the options as well. make sure it is set to 100
i DID have to load this mod first
can confirm, it works with small dragons mod
keep in mind this is for ARK SERVER MANAGER only, not sure if this will work for any other way of hosting a server

Cheers, hope i helped

Hey man, I saw this and followed it, got the PLAYERS and the TAMED DINOS working just fine, but no matter what I do I cannot get wild dinos to spawn at any higher than max I have seen was 300. Could you possibly help me out and figure what exactly I am doing wrong? Bout to pull my hair out trying to get the dinos to spawn in at higher than 300.

what i would do to test, is play single player, and add the mod, see if the dinos are over 300. keep in mind, for them to be over 300, you have to kill the currently spawned dinos. idr the command atm, but you can just google it. belive it was killalldinos or something. but be warned this will kill your tamed dinos as well. afterwards they should start to respawn after about a min or 2, and should be higher level, if it works, have fun, if not comment back and ill try to see what else may be the problem

I followed what you said and have ran the DestroyWildDinos command (this one only destroys wild ones, not sure if it's the right one) but upon putting the difficulty in ASM up to 400 last night we started seeing dinos up to like 1700 or so I believe, I guess either something worked, or ASM now has a built in Difficulty 50+ like feature now :D

increasing the difficulty to 400 on ASM does increase levels past the vanilla, but not quite as high as Difficulty 50+ does, not for me at least, but, if it works, it works lol, enjoy the game :D
