barge structure rendering despawn
unsure where to post this, and also unsure if theres a setting i can alter to change this, but i just finished building my base on a barge. it is quite a fairly large size, and seem to have a strange bug when leaving the rendering range, and the barge despawns.

it will basically do an extreme lag (minimum 30 seconds all the way up to 5 min and i relogged) where during this time you basically duplicate movement. for instance if flying, it lands you and you can walk around. if you hit any keys during this time it will execute them after it rubberbands and brings you back (if it eventually does) so if you hit dismount you will be brought back and jump to your death.

i was wondering if since it was built on the barge if it changed the rendering somehow with how it unloads the structures and if theres something i can do to fix this. thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

does it kick you of your dino and play the log in noise all while the game thinks you're on your dino?

are you in SP or on server? i've had to remove all mods & do a clean install of them since 246 came out. i followed this https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/346110/discussions/0/517141882713137214/ to remove them. i'm playing on an unofficial server as well, so followed the steps they told me to it there as well.

sorry for late response. just saw there was a reply.
@Tokken Dus yes. plays the login music. doesnt technically dismount me though. just does as described in previous post.
@Injunuity on my own paid server. i have it modded. my problem with a clean install is i built a very large base on my barge. so it would be alot of work redoing it.
ive since changed my server over to the center, and have had the issue happen again on the smaller raft as well if i fly too fast away from it. however my main large base isnt on a boat now so im not as concerned.

as i dont use the old server with the barge its become a fairly irrelevent problem for me now. but may still be a bug.

hmm, check your gfx settings, something's not able to handle the constant amount of structures on your mobile base. i've turned shadows, bloom, and light shafts off. seems to help some.
