Taming without Dartgun Mod

Is it possible to tame these dragons w/o having the dartgun mod on the server? I'm fine w/ it requiring a lot of darts like gigas or something, but I just want to know if it's even possible. Thanks!

Answered my own question. Used a 180% Dmg longneck on a 120 dragon and it took 50 Darts w/ some shots missing. Now the only question is how many prime and how long to starve >.<
