Concerning this mod.
I am seriously considering pulling this mod from the workshop. It seems that I get a few people a week wanting me to give them My work on this mod so they can claim ownership of it and it is getting really old.

-This mod was never ment to be balanced for PVP. Stop asking/complaining. You want a fire breathing flying tank of a beast? Then don't have delusions of it being balanced without making the dragon mundane and boring. Not happening.

-I am not going to give you my dev files for the mod. It was a pain in the ♥♥♥ to get it to the point it is currently and out of 230k subs only 2 people thought to throw a donation my way. Combine that with a hard drive failure where I lost all of my 3D model work that I had put countless hours into and you might understand why I stopped development on this mod. If you don't then you have entitlement issues.

Bottom line.. I have other obligations in life. Nothing about this mod compels me to continue work on it currently and many don't seem to understand just how much time it takes to really develop anything.

Update 5-15-2016--
After consideration on this subject, I have reconsidered support on this mod. I was able to recover my devkit files for it so the core mod is still intact. I have lost all of my original 3D art work in a HD crash about 6 months ago though. Today I will be doing a small update to the mod to bring the two spawners it uses up to date as well as a config file fix so server admins will need to update.

I will need some time to get back in to the devkit again since so much has changed it seems. Maybe now the Ark dev team has since added more coding support through blueprint as with before there was very little actually making my job frustrating.

I am sorry to hear that Encryption, thank you for the mod while it was available. It was epic and I appreciate all the hard work you put into it.

As much as I appreciate the hard work that went into this mod, you abandoned it without a trace or word as to why, & now you show back up after 7 months complaining about not getting enough donations & saying it will remain abandoned, but you won't allow anyone else to continue it...

If you don't want to continue that's fine. I have no issue. Refusing to allow someone else to take over a project you abandoned even though you have no intention of continuing it is your decision to make, but it's a selfish one.

Leaving it to rot doesn't benefit anyone, yourself included.

I used that for a week but i really love how you designed that dragon. And it totaly fit in this game. But if you think you should remove this mod from steam then you dont have to explain yourself for doing it since it is your work. I think it would be a pity if you would remove it but it is your work so you can do what ever you want. I just wanted to tell you that I really love you're mod and i really respect your work you put in this.
So all i want to say is thank you for all you're work and that you made my ark experience even more joyfull.

Encryption - thanks for the mod. Would you please let me/us know if there are any special steps we need to take to cleanly remove it from existing worlds, since you are leaning towards pulling it? I would prefer not to have the potential issues that remnant objects can cause, if you're willing to help us avoid them.

Either way, thanks. I only had the mod for a month, but it was definitely enjoyable.

I never said anything about you owing an explanation, or anything at all for that matter. Only stated a fact that you abandoned the mod without a trace & then came back complaining about not getting donations.

There's simply no logic to your decision to not allow others to take over what you abandoned. You don't want to work on it? Fine, no problem, as I clearly stated in my previous post. There's no logical purpose to letting it rot if you're not going to do anything with it anyway. It just makes you look like an angry teenager trying to spite the world because things didn't go their way.

Edit: To be clear, If you do plan to continue work on it at some point that's a different matter entirely, and would be a good reason not to pass the torch.

I haven't been up to date on the development of ARK in the past 6 months. Maybe there is an option in the game to clean obsolete assets references to the world? I am not real sure on this but could be worth a look.

How many dollars do you need to ignore the jerks that send you hurtful emails? There are many non-jerks that use this mod on a daily basis and it really sucks for all of us if you take it away. Thank you for your work on the mod and please consider keeping it up for the people that don't harass you regarding whatever balancing or additions THEY think are best.

@Encryption - would you please consider giving the commands to delete all dragons, and all dragon chitin helms, from the world? That would be a great help in the cleanup process. I know you're not obligated, just asking for a favor to save me some headaches.

Thank you for providing an amazing mod. My clan actively uses this mod on our PVE server and we greatly enjoy the content that you put hard hours into. There are a great number of people who enjoy the content you have created. However, I agree, there are several who feel a great sense of entitlement when it comes to gaming and services provided by others.
As someone who greatly appreciates art and that is exactly what this is, I implore you to consider giving the work to another developer who YOU choose. The reason I say this is, why would you allow your hard work to die and wither away, instead of being enjoyed and continued to be utilized as part of the game for hundreds, if not thousands of players. You are a part of ARK history, why not let it continue? Between you and I, set up some guidelines/rules for the future developer as to what they can alter if anything to keep the mod from breaking. Then enjoy the lack of headache from maintenance but the joy of knowing the world small dragons continues.

As far as donations go, I agree, far too many people are unappreciative. If you decide to continue to develop this mod, I, as well as members of my clan will likely be making a donation to make your work slightly more worth while.

Thanks for all the amazing work you put into this mod upto this point! I love it, and couldnt stand not having my Charizard to help me carry all the heavy loads when im doing my admin work on my server. Your dragons are the best I've had the pleasure of playing with.

This mod is awesome. Probably one of the most detailed mods I've used so far. Thank you for all the work and pains taking time that it is taken. Definitely appreciate it. Looking forward to the additions you're working on for it.
