How to play as a Custom Dino?

In one of the photos he has the deino mod which I have aswell. How do you set this up? I'm fairly new at ARK and have no idea what a spawn code is and looking into google brings up no good info on it. How do I use a Custom Dino in this?

You have to figure out the spawn code. You can find the spawn code of modded creatures in the mod description or ist in one of the discussions. Now you mark it and copy it into the row wich apears if you click on the custom dino button.
