New Egg/Breeding System Feedback
Hello,

It is finally here! The new egg/breeding system with nests and cute babies!

To mate you will need to be a female raptor and find a male raptor. Get close to it and the mating bar will rise, it it is full you have mated. You will be given an egg. Make sure to craft and Remote Use the nest first, so you have made the nest. THEN drop the egg inside it.
The nest will keep the egg warm and the baby that will come out will automatically be imprinted. Get close to the baby and press N to feed it, so it will stay alive.
Watch out for enemy dino's!

The mating time, egg incubation time and mating interval are base on the default ones, but a bit shorter. However you can change these times in the INI files, this will also affect the times for the Play As Dino mod.

The egg hatch times are by default 4 times shorter, the mating time 8 times, the baby grow speed is 23 faster and the mating interval is 50 times faster. If you think this is too short or too long let me know what you think needs to change. You can also change the times by modifying the Game.INI file:

[/script/shootergame.shootergamemode]
MatingIntervalMultiplier=1.0 <-- Lowering decreases the mating interval
EggHatchSpeedMultiplier=1.0 <-- Increasing decrease the egg hatch time
BabyMatureSpeedMultiplier=1.0 <-- Increasing increases the baby grow speed time

Most important: Have fun and form your pack!!! :steamhappy:

I've tried a few spots with my nest but my egg is still too cold even with the temperature almost perfect to just drop on the ground is there something I should be doing?

P.S Yay for nests :D

This is really good to wait for Primal Survival to come out!

i'll still play the mod every once in a while for nostalgia purposes

Make sure to make the nest first on the ground, after that drop the egg when standing above the nest. But i will take a look at it.

I think I accedentally released the wrong version, this is the one for testing. The nest isn't made of wood and the times are too short.

okay.. i might be dumb for asking this, it might just be starring me right in the face.. but how do i place the nest? it keeps consuming it...
