Dimetrodon wont spawn (naturally or by cheats)

I'd expect it to spawn, after I turned the swamp spawner back to the vanilla state... but as soon as it will be added to the dev kit I'll make sure to add it there manually.

Heya Milo,

I figured out my issue that I mentioned with the Slingshot not using stones. Was a different mod, not yours. But I did notice another person mention that it takes a very long time to load into the game using this mod and I am experiencing this problem as well. I'll do some more testing to make sure it is your mod causing this, but just wanted to give you a heads up.

I'm curious as to why, after so many times reinstalling ark entirely, unsubscribing and resubscribing, in dedicated servers and in singleplayer... I still can't see the Nova Raptor... I would believe this is a simple thing of subscribe, go Total Conversion mode and it'd be there aye?

but I play on your Deadly Nights server and still can't see them there...


Any ideas? This has been for months, I've reinstalled ark, checked the file location to make sure its there, it is, I've reinstalled the mod, checked about 6 different servers with this mod, etc etc.. there's something I'm missing though...

I do hope I'm not a bother and apologize for any 'stupidity, idiocy or simple newbiness' that could be seen from this as I have been playing Ark since before Doeds were released, and host my own server so I do know a thing here and there though not nearly as much as any modder out there... Thank ya thank ya so much :D

*Edit: After testing in singleplayer I can spawn the 'alpha' code one, though wild and NovaRaptor_character_BP_C I can't see... NovaRaptor_character_BP_alpha_C shows up fine but must be spawned for me to see it??*

thats a curious case... I'm not sure what to suggest here ATM.:/
But I play the server also and saw many novaraptors of both kinds there lately.

hmm.. hard case; never heard of such problems; the thing is - this mod doesnt mess with any map-stuff, so it shouldnt cause anything like this; the reason is probably somewhere else..

Heya Milo.

Short bug report, nothing is seriously major in my opinion. Excuse my lack of knowledge on some of these, I haven't played enough recently.

Sarcosuchus:
seems to be doing AOE (area of effect) damage which is capable of penetrating stone walls and dmaging/breaking furniture, placables etc.

Physics/Engine bug, maybe?
This is veey comical and reminds me of Team Rocket (from Pokemon), imagien a bloon deflating and flapping away into the sky, t then replace that baloon with a Carbonemys! X-D They fly off to space upon Death, never to be seen again. Taming is possible however.

This is affecting Stegos, Trikes and Carbonemys so far.

Wild Novaraptor:
it still seems to have a collision issue: On attack, if it lands on a player, the player is immobilised and cant move freely as the nova slowly kills you. It is managable if your gear is good tho :-)

Campfires: they seem to jsut decompose after a couple of days regardless of placement location, distance from foudnations etc. Just plain odd but meh

These are all from within the last 2 weeks.

thanks Mal, it helped me to understand some issues better.
But the raptor- it's a kind of a self-created pounce simulation, LOL.
And I never edited campfires...?8|

I'm trying to install that mod on my server hosted by havoc.com. I'm not able to install it. I don't know what is wrong with my setting. Here are screenshots of my setting :

Hi Shadow, I also use HostHavoc.com and we have always hosted this TotalConversion. I ahd a look at your commandline and it looks normal. I' dont USe arkCon to set mods or do much, I upload the data manually via an FTP client such as FileZilla. Host HAvoc don't recommend this because it is easy to make mistakes and is a little more complicated but I personally find it more reliable and consistent.

If you send a support ticket to the guys at HH.com you will hear back pretty soon, they are actually reliable and knowledgable about ark and mods. I would ask them since I can't see anything wrong here. My guess is that ArkCon may not have uploaded the Mod data correctly ? Up until recently it wasn't possible for it to do this
