FAQ
1. 'Will You split this content and overhaul into separate mods?' -
I would if it would be that simple like it seems; it would be cool if I could just upload this in parts but I cant.
I can kinda 'copy' my mod but its like if You have a wonderful house build from thousand of matches; and You can 'copy' it- where You get all the matches duplicated but thrown all over around!... You need to build all the house again;/ Yep, there are like hundreds of files in big mods that need to be reconnected one by one carefully.
I could consider some of such labour if dev kit's mechanisms would change or if people would support my work.
2. 'Why do I get an empty map when I start a game?' -
Don't use the map file that comes with the mod ; use the default map or some other made by some good modder.
3.'Why can't I see the mod on my list of mods?'-
You either didn't really subscribed/downloaded it or just don't know how to use TC mods... they are being chosen through a list in main menu.
4.'My swamps are overspawning some predators!'-
Overspawning swamps is an issue that depends on server's settings (for instance- increased dinos count is dangerous- and not neccesary with this mod anyway), and caused by a still screwed unit count box in the main map's files (that's why I cant fix this completely); but You can definitely fix the infestation by commands limiting spawning, like:

DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag=Kaprosuchus,SpawnWeightMultiplier=0.2,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=True,SpawnLimitPercentage=0.03)
DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag=Spino,SpawnWeightMultiplier=0.2,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=True,SpawnLimitPercentage=0.01)
DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag=TitanBoa,SpawnWeightMultiplier=0.2,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=True,SpawnLimitPercentage=0.02)

-but notice what is overspawning and use only lines for those species, and You may need to modify the numbers according to Your server's unique needs.
You may also get additional limitation if You put my M.N.I. mod on top of the mods' stack.
Don't forget to wipe out wild dinos that overspawned, after this, with 'destroywilddinos' command!

So theoretically, you can make a separate mod that contains ONLY the creatures, but not the realism tweak, it's just painstakingly difficult to do so?
There's a server that I help run and the creatures you've created in this mod seem really amazing. However we run the server with mods currently, and yours, being a total conversion, doesn't exactly agree with other mods very well.
We'd love to add your mod to our server, but only if there was a version that just included the animals. It seems like that is the response with a lot of your mod's fans. They love the,mod but not the total conversion part of it, that tweaks everything.
I think it's safe to say that many people outside of myself would love if you would create(eventually) a version of the mod that only has the creatures. Maybe even just start the mod with a few animals and add the other animals to it over time. Not the tweaks, not the creature changes, just the animals and their saddles of course. Be it one mod that contains all the animals, or maybe a mod for each animal.
If you cannot or don't want to, then oh well. I don't know much about mod designing, but I do know it is possible to pick things from one mod and upload them separately. Several mods already have this option on the workshop right now. Heck, since Albertosaurus and Rugops are in the makes right now it might be easier to transfer them over to a new mod as well as this total conversion.
So I emplore you to think about making a mod separate that includes just the animals, maybe you could get a whole new flood of subscribers. Thanks for taking the time to read this, hope to hear back from you. :)

yeah... ark is a great game already. it doesnt need OP stats or nerfs or crazy elemental dinos... just a little more spice. IE bosses, maybe some special loot drops or events, and that sort of thing. but every good mod that adds something like that ive found also adds a whole bunch of other stuff via creative freedom... I get that its your mod, your game. but not all of us are pro modders. or even know a thing about it. we just love to enjoy what others create, like watching youtube streamers. and for us, it becomes quite hard to weigh the pros and cons of each mod or do a lot of tweaking in the game files, when all we really want a little more to do when we play the game.

in any event, thanks for your work thus far.
