Bug Reports
List your bugs/complaints here. Links to crash reports and/or screenshots of the bug would be very helpful.

Remember this mod is in a very early state of development, as well as is the game, and things constantly change, so forgive me if things break. I'll do my best to keep the mod functional as the game is developed.

Testing out mod, thanks for the hard work.

The mod looks great so far. I've tested a couple of structures: L-shaped using inside/outside corner roofs and a 1x1 using half-flats and peaked corners.

The L-shape works great, no issues but the half-flats don't seem to snap too well to walls and aren't level if you put two in a 1x1 square. Also the peaked wall snaps a bit too far into the roof (on the long side). This leads to the roof being more over to one side. Other than that though, looks great so far. Really looking forward to how this develops as it will make so many designs possible.

I tested this mod for a few hours and after quite a while I started putting the engrams on my bar for easy crafting. I had the inner left and right engram and wood ceiling, whenever I crafted the ceiling it crafted inner left each time. Dunno if its mod related or something else, just wanted to you know :) Anyways, very nice job and I love it!

Since the Update 214 we can´t place the roofs anymore.

Hi! Love the mod so far. I've been wanting something like this for a long time.

I'm noticing, however, that half-height walls don't line up perfeclty with normal height walls.

To build a long, sloping ramp or roof using the shallow wall variants you have to use a mix of half-heights and normal height walls.

For example, if you start with the smallest shallow angle wall, and then next to it place the larger shallow angle wall you end up with a nicely aligned, shallow sloped wall that is the distace of 2 wall lengths. If you wanted to add a third segment you would either have to use a normal wall with a small shallow angle on top, or a half-height wall with the larger shallow angle on top. The normal wall will not line up properly with the sloped ceiling tiles, but the half height will. I COULD build the entire roof out of half-height segments, but the overall height of the roof seems to drift away from being aligned with any other normal walled structures.

I also did a test and built a wall of x8 half-height walls next to x4 normal walls and the half-heights are slightly taller. It's a very small difference that builds up over time.

Is this "drfit" intentional? Am I creating the roofs/ramps incorrectly? Thanks in advance for your insight!

@Wizard Yeah, i see what your saying, the next update will address that as I'm working on the snap points and getting blocks to line up better.

@DavyDave haven't found this an issue myself, and most people I talk to are still able to use these blocks, so I'm not sure what is going on with you, not a whole lot I can do, as a modder for this game, there is only so much we can do, and we are limited to working with older versions of the game then is currently out, so we are still using 210.1 ADK and the game is at what 215 now? So it may be that when we get the updated ADK it would solve some of these issues.

Thanks for the speedy reply! I'm eagerly awaiting for the update. Thanks again for your hard work. Oh! Also, do you know of any mods that add angled fences or railings to your roofing surfaces?

Started to put up a dino barn 18x24 the shallow roof tiles worked fine but after about 3-4 the steep roof tiles start to run out of square. I have tried all dif ways of placing but from one end they run down from the other they run up.

Lorgar, I have had the same problem. I have built 2 rather long structures and when I put the roof onto it, once I have placed all the roof panels I end up having a widening gap between the sloped roof and the flat roof. It seems that one of the roof models are slightly off on one of the axis. This is nothing major but it would be nice if they lined up a little more flush. The mod is excellent other than that little sna-fu. Awesome work!:steamhappy:

Putting this here, didn't realise their was a bug section the first time round.
-Flat rooves don't snap to half sloped roof pieces
-You can't go through a doorframe without crouching if you place a half wall ontop of it.
-There's no shallow roof corner pieces, the other corner pieces don't fit properly.
-Half roof slabs don't snap to half ceilings
Just some bugs I've noticed, on a whole the mod works pretty well. Gj

If a wooden horizontal half wall is over a wooden door-frame, i cant walk throught the door

I have a sloped roof with a peak wall and then a 1/2 sloped roof at each side of my building. When I try to place the last 1/2 sloped roof piece to complete the peak, it places it but promptly destroys it giving me back 1/2 mats and thus placing nothing at all.
