Thanks for the support! Ok, lets answer some questions: 1. It is as big as it will get. This dragon is meant to be more of a personal sized dragon, more natural I believe. It's roughly smaller than the Rex height. 2. I have noticed the twitch is has, and the non fluidness that you speak of. I will be making additional passes at this soon. This requires a great deal of testing to get it just right, and have been more focused on content and features. 3. Health is pretty good right now, ive tried it higher and it becomes wayyyy to much, its pretty balanced right now, imagine, your basically a rex that can fly and breath fire, having basically unlimited health to boot naturally will be bad :P 4 It does use a modified form that the ptero/argent use, so it has similar mechanics to them, only difference is this BaseAnimBP supports running/swimming etc. As far as the animations between the big one and this, the files are the same, although some of the settings might need adjusting seeing as they were originally set for the giant one. No worries man, glad I can help! I love dragons, and love the devkit. This will most definitely be updated regularly. Can't wait for the devkit to get more stuff, be expecting baby dragons as soon as I can. :)
The color scheme you are seeing now, is my first real pass at it. I will be doing more detail work, mainly centered around giving more accent markings, that correspond with the main accent markers, I.E the wings/eye/largescales on its sides. More to come :)
P.S: While I was playing, I noticed that the HEALTH REGEN and the DEFENSE of the Dragon are two very low attributes he has. What can you tell me about it? I mean, he takes high damage from other dinos and his health doesn't regen fast as the other dinos. :/
I'll be doing a stat balancing adjustment shortly, I'll take a look into it's health regen. As far as defense goes, your dinos gain defense from thier armor, which the dragon lacks because of not having a saddle. :P
The animation while flying striaght, doesn't flap his wings at all unless you turn, even flying up.
I can understand not needing to flap too often going forward when not "sprinting" but not all even when going up is a bit silly lol.
Also when you run out of stamina you can still fly/attack just not breath fire or sprint.
And as a sidenote, is the HP dropping down to 10% of the value from when initially tamed, to next launch intended? For example when I tamed first dragon (lv 17) it had 15k hp. Upon reloading game it had 1.5k hp. I'd say it keeps him balanced so hes not uberly tanky specialy with that fire breath anyway. Just wondering if it's possible to fix it from having the larger hp after being tamed or not, if it is intended.
Other then that it's a awesome mod and I love it.
