ERROR: incorrect skeleton type for anim 553.
When I try to play custom mod it crashes and shows this error: incorrect skeleton type for anim 553. I tried to reinstall it from another mirror but than again doesn't work :( Any idea?

Hm, so far it really only showed to be a corrupt download.
There are plenty of mirrors, try deleting the mod then getting it from another mirror.

I have the same error when starting a battle. GOG installation. No fix for this?

Has this issue persisted or have you solved the problem?

Possibly, I'm glad you've gotten it to work and didn't give up. Welcome to Bear Force!

Actually, I think that error was because I was trying to load single player.
Right now I'm playing other stuff until a replacement motherboard comes in.

Well, It's unfortunate that you're unable to play with us immediately, but in advance I recommend joining one of the clans around for the best experience in bear force. The events are amazing.

Thanks, you piqued my interest. Hope I can remember by the time I get my game system back up.

I have to start from scratch with my system (if it works) loading Linux then a Win VM on top of it, if I can remember how to do that, then I"ll probably need more RAM... blah, blah, it'll take some time. Unless M&B has a native Linux client.

I can't remember if they've made a linux compatitble version straight out of the box by the developers, but I do know of this solution. https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?topic=99405.0 Using Wine. I run servers for the game using WINE on Ubuntu and Debian systems just fine.

I see a Linux version on the Steam page... and sure enough, GOG shows a linux version. That's pretty great.
