What is the server all about?
The idea for the server is to create a more difficult survival experience for players from spawn right through to end game.

First and foremost you can't fly; riding saddles for the Argentavis, Pteranodon and Quetzal have been removed. This totally changes the game and adds so much more challenge; no more flying your Quetzal to a mountain to farm 2000+ metal and flying home without encountering a player or dinosaur, now you have to build remote bases and convoys of dinosaurs to collect resources (we hope this will lead to allot more situations where you bump into/possible fight other players)

We also run a mostly primitive ruleset, this means on top of not being able to fly you are also restricted to a long neck rifle as the highest form of technology. That means you'll be relying on your dinosaurs more for utility purposes.

There are upsides though! With all the changes, raiding bases becomes much more of a challenge. How do you get your dinosaurs to the enemy base? How do you penetrate the walls? We use the big raft mod to allow you to build mobile bases on boats that can hold many dinosaurs and multiple types of ballista to get you to and into the enemy base!


Behemoth Wall Mod
While I don't begrudge people using behemoth gates to span large areas fairly cheaply, I think we can all agree it looks ugly and out of place. The most simple solution is to just to create an alternative at the same cost to replicate the effect with a better aesthetic which this mod allows.

Ballista Plus
Without explosives, base raids/sieges become difficult to near impossible for the average player. The stronger ballistas from this mod mounted on the back of dinosaurs and on boats are intended to offer a way for players to fight sans explosives.

Wood Table / RampX / Stairs / Rounded Walls / No collision
All of these mods are purely aesthetic or allow players to build bases where they want and how they want.

Big Raft / Better water tanks
Without the use of flying dinosaurs, travel becomes a dangerous, laborious task. To counter this and allow players to live in remote areas, this mod introduces rafts big enough to relocate multiple large dinosaurs and water tanks able to hold enough water to sustain farming.

Research and Development
This mod is still in question but I'd like to make it work to increase the sense of progress for players.
