the jarl dying in the forgoten city mod

After I kill rykas and get the last part of the armour I reset the timeline and go to talk with the jarl "for the first time" and during our convesation he just dies for no reason, I have tried to do other things before talking to him but then he dies anyway but this time before I get to him. Is there a fix?
