HOW TO NOT KILL EVERYONE
Hey, I'm one of those OCD types who just HAS to get the best possible ending. My question(s) is:

1. Can you acquire a chestplate without killing Rykas?
2. Can you finish the mod without breaking the law and restarting time? (in my book, this counts as losing because you've still killed everyone in that timeline/universe)

And the less important (maybe) questions;
3. HOW DO YOU GET INTO THE SUNKEN HOUSE CAVES
4. HOW DO YOU FIND MAISIE
5. What is the "Dwarven Dome"? I saw a marker for it on my map inside the underground tunnels.

The important two are the first two, and you don't have to answer the last three if you think it would take away from my experience of the mod. They've just been driving me crazy. Cheers.

1. No.
2. I'm not super sure if this is possible, but there may be a way to do so. (spoilers) I suppose you can try just charging all the way down to the Arbiter's domain and persuading him to stop enforcing the Law. However this may trigger that bug I've read about how even after the quest ends you still get radiation poisoning, so you should probably make a save before attempting that.
3. Do Dooley's quest.
4. Same as above. Doing Dooley's quest will eventually lead you to find Maisi.
5. It's the home of the Arbiter.

Hopefully that answers your questions while not being too spoiley. :)

Perfect, cheers. As for No. 2, you just do Dooley's quest and free Maisi, therefore finishing the quest. Then again, the city is still destroyed.

Also, plothole. The brother tells you upon completion (using the Maisi ending) that 'most folks were evacuated'. but if you slip back down the cistern (like I did; idiot), then you can still see charred corpses. Looks like a lot less than a 'few' made it out.

Yeah, but I thought you meant like not breaking the law, at all, player or not. Maisi ended up breaking the law after all...

lol Yeah, and I thought it was weird how the place immediately goes kaboom after Maisi kills Mettelus so I have no idea how people were able to evacuate at all without getting killed first.

Where do I need to start looking after talking to Dooley? I can't figure out what to do next.

Edit:

Nevermind! I figured it out.

Went to the sunken house and used the trapdoor unlocked with a key I don't even remember aquiring.

IF U SPEAK THIS ARBITER TRY TO CONFUSE HIM AND HE WIL SAVE THIS CITY..

I think you can pickpocket Rykas for his armour if you have 100 pickpocket and the appropiate perk. However that propably wouldn't make a difference. Once you meet the Arbiter you have to fight him afaik, and that means he starts purging the populace (good thing he does, when you think about it, otherwise he would create a paradox right there when you kill him). You'll have to revert the world at least once to save the city

also even if you get the 'perfect' ending, the Jarl still ends up dead

I'm curently running with a no crime character in the main game, which makes this quest nice and challenging. The best I've done so far is with 5 tresspasses to get the happy ending and my statue in the mine.
If you hit Rykas once it does not show in your game stats. Of course the Centurions show up and try to kill everyone. Just sneak and wait till they kill Rykas, then collect the armour from his body and off to the time portal (other nice body loot available at this time so do not rush to the Lakehouse). You will then have the full set of Immaculate Armour.
I needed three trips to the Lakehouse (3 tresspases), Vernon's quest (1 tresspass) and Maisi's "body" quest (1 tresspass).
Can not see how to do it with no crime at all.
This is the best MOD I have played.

I had to break the Dwarves Law twice: I had no choice but to kill Rykas (pickpocketing him with the Perfect Touch perk, even if unnoticed will still break the law), I even tried taking him to the tunnels and push him into the radiation, but that also broke the law for some reason.

The second time I broke it was when I killed the Arbiter, although I could've persuaded him into stopping the law, I didn't want to give up on that helmet of his.

You need to first get all the armor items that arent on Rykas(ie helmet gloves and boots) then you kill rykas and take the armor.
Now with the armor you need to run to the lakehouse because Dwarves law has begun. The Jarl will either be waiting for you or you will wait for him in the Lakehouse. There, you will be able to reset the timestream and return to the beginning of the story but this time with the armor.
Go into the tunnels and find the Arbiter. You can either attack him but Im not sure what that does oooooorr you can persuade him to release the Dwarvel law.
Thus creeating a paradox sending you back into the future where everyone is alive and the city is free.
Its actually a really nice ending compared to the one where everyone dies

I tried running through the first time i went into the cave because I didnt realize i was taking damage but i died before getting out of the corridor. I suppose if you had crazy high health you might be able to just sprint and hop over the barrier and over the dome but you would need to be really a high level just to get close to the door and then you would have to talk to the Arbiter for a while so its just unrealistic without some sort of cheat.

1. Kill Rykas and take the armor. Or pickpocket it off of him, if you so choose.
2. Go back in time.
3. Kill the Arbiter and take his helmet.
4. Go back in time.
5. Go back to the Arbiter and show him the helmet and you get the only "good" ending. (Everyone is still alive and a couple things have changed. *cough cough* R & V *cough cough*

Or do what I did because I did not realize that you had to go back in time before I killed the Arbiter and use console commands. "player.setav health 2000000" doesn't even let the bar show up at the bottom of your screen in the radiated area.
