The battery can appear in several places at random.
1.The hidden library once you return to the mansion, go down the hole in the room with the piano,behind the door that&s covered by a bookshelf,you need to push it out of the way.
2. A room opposite the lift once you go down it's hard to see.

Thanks dude, the game bugged at the second part and we thought we needed the baterry there, we already finished it

So u can still get thru map 2 without finding that battery?

We had to restart the map, the battery clipped through the floor for some unknown reason
