It's been almost five years now, and I think it'd do well to everyone who liked the mod to simply move on. The creators clearly do not have any interest in updating this mod, or lending the source code. Some of them did also drop off from steam entirely

I loved Annunaki like many of you, but maybe some things are better left alone. This mod is but a memory of times past, an abandoned project. It's time to give up on it, just like its creators did. There is nothing else.

THERE ARE a few alternatives though. Ark Creatures Rebalanced (AG Reborn) is an attempt of a re-birth of sorts for this mod. It's done by another person entirely, who made it all up from scratch. Still being updated to this day, and quite similar to this mod. Primal Fear is another one, with a concept not unlike Annunaki.
