on the video, bitmaps are setting in 16 bit png.is it a mistake or i can set all bitmap like that?
sorry for my language,i'm french
Yeah, my video is a little outdated. The guide I made is more up to date. The most important thing to do is use the ME texture converter to convert a 16 bit tiff height map to 16 bit dds (I could not find any other texture converters that do that. The other maps are regular 8 bit color and you can use any converter for that. If you can't get it to work, tell me.
please...help...
i'm starving of informations!
for my first map,i think i use gimp first(sadness 8 bit.png for heightmap),for join your steam group.
After,we take the time to speak together.
Don't forget,i'm french,and my english is poor!
this is a challenge for me because all tutorials are in english!
rock grass that matches with the red rock and dark rock themes
and maybe tweek dirty snow to be much more dirty
thats what i would like to see.
tbh dirty snow turned out to look a lot more like ice anyways. I probably can substitute in a texture without breaking things.
