How about burning oil pots, that allow you to dump them.
Much like a catapult bottom so you can turn the pot.

*another thing how about taking a flooring tile that places like a foundation outside the castle on the ground like a moat. It maybe an issue having it damage someone. Something you can maybe figure out.
* we cant see over the cap piece to be able to defend the castle. See screenshots.

* Remove one block foundation instead of having two? so we can see over or half size it.
If your ok with it, ill post anything else i can recommend or test for you.
So, Flooring is coming in the next patch. Its been a lot harder than I thought it would be figuring out maya and making things the shape I want without screwing up the UV's really bad. I finally got my head around a few things and have the single component tile mostly finished. There are some placeholders in the mod files that I will be finishing tomorrow. There should be regular tile and wood, then another for the cutout steps. I've been having issues getting them to snap to the quarter ceilings so the cutout and hatchway ones might have to wait.
Also in the next patch, the castle foundations, massive gateways, drawbridges and regular bridges will all be dyeable. All foundation material items like the stone steps will also be dyeable.
As for flavor items in general, they are something that come slowly. I want things I add to be special in some way and its hard trying to focus on what would be best. I'm working on a coat of arms system that will work with the kingdom map. I plan on making a shield to be placed on a wall, (about 4 feet tall), and a large banner that will be about as big as a fortress gate that can have the same coat of arms applied.
It might be a couple weeks out, but I'll leave it up to you. What flavor item would you like to see next? If I can do it I will. Just a heads up, though, I have no skill in manipulating human forms. I tried my hand at some Ark sculpture and it was creepy at best. These discussions like to tell me I'm over 1000 characters a little too often so breaking this response up a little.
Not sure what you mean by the damaging flooring tile. For defense on a base I recently built, I had a drawbridge as the front door, then branching out from that on both side were wall foundations with half walls on top. In between I filled it with metal spikes. I'm still trying to figure out how to get water to work how you expect it to. I can make it look and sound like water, but players won't swim in it. A moat was actually the second structure I tried to make after the Castle Foundation.
When I get to doing hoardings I will be adding a step to all the battlements to help players see over them. I made them step up already from ceiling to separate them so I might just do the same thing again, half way across.
Thank you for the awesome feedback!
Glad you made our gameplay more :)
I would like to mess with the mods, and get some ideas off of my chest sometime. Since we host our own server, on my house interent it works well for us. Semi PVE server. We where hoping to someday make it pvp too but i am not sure on the hosting and size. It is not laggy at all with 10-12 players so far.
