There are no snap points for vanilla ark pieces on anything but the Castle Foundation I believe. I had to stop adding new snap points when I realized that the exclude types don't seem to work. Each new piece that's different from what's already in the mod adds snaps in odd places to everything else. Definitely on my list of wants from the dev kit.

So does this mean it's currently impossible or that it's in the works? Would you plan on adding any smaller walls/ceilings?

Posting here as it seems pretty close related. I'm trying to place vanilla structures on castle foundations but there's no way I can link constructions sitting over 2. The walls adjust perfectly until 1/2 wall-size from the foundation border, which makes for exactly 1 wall space between them, but it just wouldn't snap, saying that there is no foundation available to put the wall on.
Is this a known bug ? Could it be fixed ?
If my description isn't clear, let me know I'll make a screenshot.
