I only ask because so far I have managed to win against 3 Expert Comps without the use of a single M10 or Sherman which I think possibly overpowers the Brits.
I'm not really an expert by any measurment on these things, but it seems to me that the Sherman was one of the more abundant tanks the brits used. If you think its going to cause balance problems then I suppose you can remove it from their arsenal. After all, Relic seemed to have no issue with removing the Sherman 75mm in favour of the less common Cromwell as the British medium tank (though I guess that was more for faction diversity than balance).
So I guess the bottom line is I think I'd prefer it to stay, but if its a balance problem that can't be easily fixed then I wouldn't mind if it has to go.
I think you’re right too, replacing the M10 with the Mk VIII valentine means I can probably get away with leaving the Sherman in. I have made the Sherman cost roughly the same as a long barrel Panzer IV to balance things out.
On that topic, should I add the long barrel Stug III back in just slightly cheaper than a Cromwell?
This would give both teams 2 medium tanks with the long/75mm gun to use mid game.
