Bug Reports
Here is where I prefer people to post their bug reports, now, before you just start posting, make sure you take pictures of the problems you are having, and post them here (whether on steam or imgur, however you want to link them). I cannot otherwise fix anything if I can't see what you're experiencing. Because this was uploaded because of my Garry's Mod version, any problem here will most likely affect the Gmod counterpart.

Is it me, Or is the AO broken and the model see through?

Frosty/Phanto, the Ambient Occlusion of the model is not set up. Look at it in SFM.
Furthermore, you have not addressed the issue with the little light-lines on the Knight and there's no Commander variant.

Yeh, I noticed mine was different, I'm the only one with heaps of bodygroups for the body and such. However, I do not have a commander variant, when I downloaded it from the halo maps site, it only came with three different types, and the glowing textures were not exactly right, and I'm not even happy that the glowing lines can't be orange or blue, it would mean a massive amount of editing textures to get them to standard, if I did however, it would make mine just as equally good looking as the others.

As for watcher, there were no textures that came with the model download, :( I wanted the watcher in there so badly. As for inner/outer wings, :\ I knew I shouldn't have tried to make them only part of the outer wings when fixing bone weighting, I honestly thought there was a problem with it.

As for AO, I just don't have any idea how, I'm not experienced with working with sfm, I'm not aware that it requires something more to look good. Otherise, thanks for the feedback, if I ever have the time, I can always try to fix the lines color to separate skins and properly orange or blue.

I've actually managed to get the textures stipe light things to look right! :D :D Just I'd make em more orange, and add a blue variant. :3 I have a feeling after I've adressed a few of those problems I can fix, my promethean could end up being one of the best choices.

EDIT: Though, I can't really make a blue variant for the orange lines and skull, :\ some reason even though I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing, its not working, so I guess that leaves Majora's promethean for different colors, and the weapons. BUT MINE HAS MORE BODY GROUPS/VARIANTS. And now better texture, hopefully.

Addendum remains: Outer wings not paired with wing/armour variants.
Addendum remains: Refinement of textures, Ambient Occlusion (perhaps ask the others for a bit of direction, and in turn you will be the Knight of Knights).

For the sake of individualities, you could ask if there's anyone who wants to make custom skins for the Knight, and start adding those with the pack.
Also, I for certain know that the Knight Commander is a reskin; make this another bodygroup. The 'blue skull' could be a bodygroup for the skull.
Yours will remain in the lead for the most physical variance, for now. The others will catch up. You will adapt by throwing in custom armour types (such as an Ur-Didact helm, or a UNSC or Covenant -er looking type) and by integrating the community-make Knight skins.

Alright, k, I'll make the wings inner and outer, and perhaps center separate bodygroups. I'll ask the community how do I deal with AO, because right now I have no idea how to fix it for either gmod or sfm. I'll make another discussion asking other modders to make special skins if they want. I'll try my best, so I can be the Knight of Knights.

I've figured out the AO Problem, apparently, my model's qc needed the line: "$mostlyopaque" this is affects the gmod version too, and possibly my fem spartans.

Phanto, here's a suggestion for your Spartans:
1:Have a skingroup to remove the emblem, and perhaps get the community to make several skin presets for the users to play with.
2:Have a Promethean Knight head with a bit of rigging to be usable on Spartans.
Knight Addendum: Lancer helm missing lower half.
General Addendum: Lack of Protoss, Zerg, Terran (can be translated from Gmod workshop).

Well, I can't help the lancer thing, the model that I got from halo maps did not have it. I searched up the last thing. Why would I add starcraft 2 related stuff to Halo??

As for spartans, They're not part of the skin textures, they're decals, I'm unsure right now if I can make a version to disable them. The community won't even make skins for the promethean, why should I ask them to try making skins for spartans? Even if they could make skins, they can remove decals on them themselves.

Knight Lancer problem: perhaps grab the lower jaw from the average Knight helm and place it in the Lancer setting (albeit it's much harder than how I wrote, this I assume)?

About StarCraft stuff: Just a thought, but no, it's not related to Halo. LOTV is out, though. Purifiers will be coming to make friends with Prometheans.

As for the texture suggestion: Maybe DeviantArt or Tumblr may be viable locations to advertise? Perhaps show an example with inverted colours? If that doesn't work, then refocus on the Bionicles and neglect this community with a statement:
"No skins for Knights, no support for Knights."

Well, I could grab the jaw from the default knight. But otherwise, I don't think there is anything I otherwise would need to update, or would like to update.

I still haven't gotten around to updating my gmod knight, well, you know how it is...heaps of other more important projects I have to work on, like female halo 4 spartans, byom (bionicle moc project), and a newer project for fixing and improving an older bionicle upload of mine, that is ALSO coming to SFM.

So much things I have/want to do, so little time to do them all.

Phanto, the following visual should detail any remaining issues with your iteration of the Knight, although the post I made also details comparisons between it and the one to the left, which I have used more often (however, your Knight is the only one with the variations as bodygroups, so I end up relying on it for particular scenes, but due to it's very nature as now now I don't think it would look best in the spotlight).

Textified detail:
Knight has a seam issue at the neck.
Knight wings-toggle to me is of no use and could be integrated into existing groups.
Knight bodygroups to be further expanded*:
-Helmet top and Helmet bot.
-Outer wings, Inner wings, and Center wing as individual groups (wings as pairs).
-Speaking of wings, Normal / Battlewagon shield distributor should be toggle.
-Blade is fine.
-Skins could be removed, replaced with a 'blue' version of each as a separate Knight, or another batch of bodygroups, whichever's best.

Potential benefits of enabling mix-matching: - More Knight-OCs, additional custom variants (some of which I made up were mentioned probably in the 'Rugged comparison' or something).

Further information: Soul has stopped porting to SFM. The Watchers are the last Prometheans that are yet to be ported entirely. Arbiter from [Killer Instinct] is being ported, according to the Facepunch thread.

Basic idea for Watchers:
Seven bones; a root, one for each major limb, and one for each wing.
A 'body-skingroup' for Blue Watchers, if ever; otherwise repainting the 'red' may be required.
A bodygroup for the folded state.

I presume that you're still overloaded by what you may currently be working on, but I thought this may be of help.

That pretty much rounds up anything else.

Your Knight's a Battlewagon, the other's a normal one by Soul; the image is a flipped version of one from earlier.

I am not comparing yours for purposes of some unheard contest, no, I am merely doing this in hopes of the Knights getting the quality they deserve, much like the Halo 4 Sangheili.

Although, personally, I believe that none of these 'false'** hopes will ever come to be. There's always that one last thing people don't do, such as closing the door.

**'False' being that the people who did their thing will not do it, let alone what I mentioned earlier, and would likely shout down anyone who supports the one who asked.

Oh wow. Well, let me try to sum up without going into a huge wall of text. I don't actually have much time these days, and I don't have any Watcher models (can't port stuff). And...I don't even know were to begin with "fixing" Because it seems to have so many problems, I get that feeling like giving up totally. Its not your fault, don't blame yourself. But, I must agree, the Knights need the proper treatment they deserve, and I'm not saying that I wouldn't go back to them, seeing as I've finally created Halo 4 Spartan Males as NPCs/PMs for Gmod even after saying so many times I didn't want to do them (and they turned out awesome).

It just seems a bit, overwhelming, shall I say?

Could you sum up exactly what should be fixed/changed? Using points/numbers. And I can look into it when I do have time. Also, I thought you should know, I cannot upload to SFM workshop anymore, it says something like I've exceeded the limit (on cloud I think), so, I don't know if updating the Knight with any said fix/changes would be allowed, or it would reject it (If it does, I may have to delete something on SFM workshop, and transfer it to SFMLab, so people can still get it).

I'll simplify the idea to it's barebones. If possible, see if Soul's willing to lend you his/her Knight model for that may be of use.
Knight has variants, but to me is missing a thing or two.
LIST BEGINS.
1: Bodygroups:
Head (upper) - Default, Lancer, Wagon, none.
Head (lower) - Default, Wagon, none. No Lancer as Lancer isn't any different from Default.
Thrusters (the things under the wings) - Default, Wagon.
Outer wings (swaps Knight default wings for variants of it) - Default, Lancer, Wagon.
Inner wings (the wings between the Outer and Center) - Default, Lancer, Wagon.
Center wing - Default, Lancer, Wagon, Wagon+spikes.
Sword - Default, Lancer, Wagon, Commander.
Body - Default, off (no light colour).
2: Colouration method.
If it's even possible, the bodygroups will also contain blue variants.
3: How?
If it's possible, negotiate with Soul to attain the Knight and install the bodygroups on it.

BUGS
1 The Default Outer wings are not overriden by variants' wings and should be put into that bodygroup.
2 The skin only affects the sword and the spikes. Could be adjusted to provide blue-variant bodygroups if that's viable.
3 Lancer variant is missing lower jaw.
4 There are a number of gaps on the body's mesh, I forgot where.
5 Wagon helmet cannot open up properly.
6 The skull's jaw is immovable.

POTENTIAL REMEDY
Acquisition of Soul's Knight is recommended.
