Stops working suddenly and without warning for babies?? They die.

This seems to work when I turn it on, food gets put into babies' inventories, I take the food out and it gets put back in, I see the baby gets this force field around it when the trough interacts with it so I log off. Then I log back in eight hours later and see in the logs it say they starved to death?
