Y'know, portal gun in Portal is one of things that is written by Source engine's code and its part of that engine, while all mods in Garry's Mod is written in Lua(not Source engine's code), and it will be kinda hard not to just rewrite from C+(or whatever Source engine is running on) to Lua, but to attach all the stuff and fix it because Portal have different engine version and to arrange visuals thru portal right which will be hard also and more and more hard stuff to do...
Also if it would worked that way, Garry's Mod would have veery much cooler addons, starting from whole CS:GO fitted in bunch of scripts, and ending with full remake with all graphics and ♥♥♥♥ of all FNaF because foken kids love it...
So you got my point. It does not work like that. Its like some parents thinking that you can take PS4 game and put it in xBox and it will work, but, as again, it does not work like that way.

people actually don't respond with a proper reason to. too bad, because they actually won't read it . actually the creator of this post should read this and learn. also, if you want the portal gun in GMod, then make it yourself! lua isn't that hard...

You know.. You are ALLOWED to MAP A GAME IN HAMMER, for Portal 2.
That'd be the logical step to this...
