Elephants and Chariots in Grand Campaign
First up, awesome mod, those Berber Nobles are hectic.
Would have posted this in the comments but bought the game retail so steam won't let me.

I'm having issues finding elephants (and to a lesser extent chariots) in the GC (playing as Gaetuli). They appear in custom battles in both the roster and as general units but I can only find chariots at a building and elephants not at all so far (but only have first tier cav building atm) .

Normally I wouldn't be worried, but I'm starting to think the berber units may be too light. I'm a big fan of thureos and light skirmisher type units but those spearmen break too fast for my (light) cav or archers to make an impact, which is why I need something heavy to smash in the flank. Fighting Iberians atm and even against their medium-heavy units the auto-resolve says "close defeat" even when I outnumber them almost 2 to 1, and have the high ground. Playing myself can bring that back to a close victory, but I've lost too many men to follow up on it.

Could be one of my other mods cancelling the elephants out but if you could look into it, or provide a better strategy, it'd really help.

Check the technology tree, and maybe build all buildings/barracs/stables. If you lack heavy units, try mercenaries if you can afford or have no other option. Merc elephants, hoplites and thracian units (pelasts that rape everyhing light in CC is great) are good if you can reach them/afford it
