A few questions:
1) What are your PC specs? (if you know them)
2) Have you you tried unsubscribing and resubscribing? (in this order: quit Left 4 Dead 2, unsubscribe from the addon, re-launch L4D2, wait for the rest of your addons to load, minimize L4D2, come back here, and subscribe to the addon. This way, it gets a sure-fire re-install)
I know that may sound "too easy" or whatever but it's worth a shot
After some thought, I'll theoretically conclude that the issue is:
1) A lack of PC specs The need for faster PC specs. The map could be resource-intsensive.
2) Probably something in the map.
@GamerZ1197 If it's loading, and you don't move the mouse at all, do you still crash? (Might sound silly, but there is a brief period of time when the map/players are active, but the game has yet to unfreeze)
@Millie "Tailsko" Prower, You said "when you're going around getting plushies". It is a specific room that you walk in? A specific direction that you look in? (Yes, I've had the map crash on me when testing alone just from looking in a certain direction.) A specific plushie that you go to and/or pick up?
Making progress; I would need to know your sub-models to understand the unique inner workings.
What I really need to know is the processor and amount of RAM. If you don't know what they are; On your laptop, go to Control Panel > System.
From there, the Processor and Installed Memory (RAM) should be listed.
