Do you think you know how this happens? And would you say the whole, entire HUD disappears, or just certain parts of it? (Yes, knowing this could make a difference)
but apart of that its a great map :)
A few other bugs i want to mention are:
The hud i think for night 4 or 5 i dont remember for sure was missing which caused us to be unable to switch guns life from primary to secondary.
A gernade launcher that was found by one of my friends had way too much ammo (dont know if this was a bug or an easter egg).
Interaction with anything in the prize location causes everyones game to lagg for a few seconds.
On of the shadow dolls were on a ceiling chandelier ( i dont know if it placed there or was it accidentally spawn there) making it unreachable.
One of the pizza for chicas mission was placed on an obscure location on top of a cabinet out of the average players normal visual direction ( you really need to fumble around to find that pizza).
All and all this is just things i encountered some are bugs some might not be but the map is fairly well done and me and a few friends are planning on revisiting the map to come up with any helpful criticism to help you as a modder make more impressive l4d2 maps.
P.S. all these issues i mentioned are in the video you found. Either i saw it first hand like the no spawning zombies or the prize box lagg; or i experienced through my friends with him firing many rounds with the gernade launcher. If you need any help with testing out mods to get a more casual gamer perspective with no real knowledge of modding and coding, i can give you an idea of what worked well in the mod that was enjoyable and what didnt.
A few comments regarding some points you made, if I may:
If the grenade launcher had anymore than 30 grenades (30 is the maximum amount I believe), it is indeed a bug. One has a chance of spawning in the basement (which has a history of giving me issues for some reason), and another one might spawn in the attic, though I can't remember for sure. I'll re-examine both locations anyway.
The shadow doll on the chandelier is the marionette, after you guys picked him up. His placement lies up there to represent his exaggerated paranormal-like behavior from the game's lore.
Yes, I am in need of casual player feedback. I am looking forward to hearing this constructive criticism.
Also, if you're interested in being a beta tester for the FNaF 1 map (version 3), you are certainly more than welcome.
(If you are not familiar with version 3 for the FNaF 1 map, additional information can be found in the map's description: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=361216976) I will have more information regarding this update once it becomes available.
In any case, feedback pertaining to any map of mine is always welcome. It just so happens that version 3 is my next big project coming up, and information will be available for it soon, I hope.
