French Ideas/Suggestions
Hi Strat
Below are some suggestions for tweeking a few French Units.

French Armour
The FT17, H39, S35 and Char B all had 'single man turrets'. So the commander had to issue orders, spin the turret, load the gun and aim & fire the gun ...... and fire the coaxial MG !
I know its 'just a game' and you are trying to balance the French Tanks so they can compete, but it would be a LOT more historical/accurate if the French tanks somehow reflected the single man turret design.
Perhaps giving them a longer reload time could be the answer. Not a big increase, but something slower than the two man turreted German tanks.

Elite French Infantry
As a 1 SP buy you should include "Moroccans'. These guys were some of the best soldiers in the French army ..... like the "Black Watch'.

I was refering to their fighting skill, obviously.
And if your gonna drag up bad behaviour as a reason to block a unit, then you better include most of the Russian army and the German Army and the Japanese and in some cases the US as well.

No problemo.
Just a suggestion.

If you dont like Moroccans perhaps the Alpine divisions could be considered.
The 64th and 66th Mountain Infantry divisions smacked the Italians who where trying for a sneeky attack in the south while the German panzers where rampaging in the north.
They also fought in Norway.
It's just that I think a nations elite troops should represent and IMO a unit called 'Sabouters' is not very authentic.
Also 1 man turrents are a vital ingredient in any French recipe.


Overall I think you've done an awesome job with the mod..
I have watched many 'a worrld at war' games and its looking great.
Im becoming a huge fan of this game and very much enjoy watching your casts.
BecauseI am in the process of learning how to play the game I have realised just how skilled the top tier players are.
My micro is ....pathetic but Im trying to get better.
Keep up the great job you are doing for this game and the community.
