Balance/Suggestions (will be done for community)
Make arty useful but not annoying... some how...
Make all units useful.
Make MG a bit better
Make squad based more important.. all unitss have a role.

Make combat engineers good for mines
make sappers good at destroying buildings.
make elite makrsman good at shooting not super at other things.
make regulars viable

Many others.. just top of my head.. so far

I like the idea of being able to buy stealth units, maybe change elite AT units to have stealth modifier to make them worth getting?

Do not buff LMGs too much, I did not like the AS1 LMG balance. LMGs are too mobile to be that powerful.

Yep it will be very minor if it is done. that kind of thing will change gameplay alot.
Though the reasons are single MG is usless and regular squads arent used either. 20mm is the chocie for everything infantry killing atm.

Any other ideas would b great.

Main reason why mgs are not good is because skilled players prioritize killing/stealing them.

Most of the time you buying an mg is basically buying the enemy an mg, single grenade over a wall or cover and its dead. (maybe slight hp increase to avoid this always being the case?)

If you are too close to enemy they can get around the mg, if they are too far away they become useless.

I propose increasing the range, this would give it ability to be used as a proper machinegun, rather than superheavy smg.

OR give mg ability to build sadbag instantly like MGturret.


For some nations the mg needs to be looked at more, such as USA. B.A.R only has 20 shots. Perhaps damage increases or more accuracy. (give mg the stars that the squadleader usually has)? 3 stars instead of 2.

Remember that the elite marksmen and the new ammo system in AS2 helps the LMG play quite a bit.

re Sappers - suggest shorten time to lay mines to make them more feasable to use .
Need the Engineering/mine clearing vechiles included for normal play at low cost as they would be a disposable unit in offence.

I know this may be a bit too late but, is it normal for Italian Artigliery to have alle but one artigliery piace have the ability for Indirect Fire?

I feel it is soo if I may ask, to have them work like actual artigliery.
