Starting.
As soon as you found a way to toggle parts of roads (between two nodes I guess?) I suggest a feature that highways that are generally set to be without lights will have lights near intersections / ramps, also to be toggled and on by default.
I'm german and generally spoken, not a complete autobahn is in pitch black darkness but straight segments.
At tighter curves (could this be recognized by mod: highway curve is tighter than so-and-so degrees?) and on/off ramps should be lights.

How about different colour streetlights? Such as mercury vapour, sodium vapour, and LED lamp colours.

Adding a toggle lights button to/near the road selector, so while the toggle lights button is off, any section of road you draw will not be lit, and when you toggle it on, the roads are lit. It could work in the same way as the road upgrade tool too, for changing what kind of light you want to use on a particular kind of road...

The ability to change lights on pedestrian paths? Annoyed with making concrete areas, then seeing the ugliness of the lampposts everywhere.

@bicyclist goat you might like to look at Boformer's ground textures, plus there's a mod that lets you place props in the game.

Hi!, future releases? can you please make this Mod compatible with American Roads? AR was released as a first so I guess we need to ask boformer ;-)
