Using the valhalla map I cannot seem to place any of the items down at all. It will not even show an outline of the item to put them down.

when mod structures cannot be placed down its because of incorrect installation of the mod.
Steps to fix:
- First remove all mod loading settings from your custom rental server script like mod.ini/plugin.ini. (Do not use custom scripts like these they wont work)
- Remove any mod loading parameters from your server bat startup launch cmd line. (Also dont use this to load mods)
- Load the mod correctly by adding ActiveMods=modidnumber under [ServerSettings] in your server's (not your client) GameUserSettings.ini file.
- Delete all old mod files inside your server's (not your client) harddisk path \Arkserver\ShooterGame\Content\Mods\ folder.
- Recopy the new downloaded mod folders and .mod files inside your client's Ark Mod folder to your server's Mod folder. Restart your server.

Also keep in mind that there are structures that have problems being placed from 3rd person view, so try it in 1st person.

I am trying to get the Tatch N Fertilizer Silo to work. I can place it down, but it stays unpowered. To check if the power is working in that spot I put down a lamp and that gets power. But no matter where I put the Tatch N Fertilizer Silo, it always stays unpowered. I tried moving priority (last/first) on the mod. I also got the latest update for the mod. I do run some more mods, so it might be a compatibility thing perhaps. I am using a hosted (hosthavoc) server. Any helpful suggestion would be appreciated.

@Huron It needs an Egg N Poop Collector to be nearby and turned on, doesnt need generator or outlet.
Hurons 2 FEB 2016 a las 8:33
Well that's an excellent suggestion then :) Will try it out when I get online. Thanks :)

I'm having a problem it worked fine yesterday although since updating the server to the lastest v234.0 it wont let me place the Egg N Poop Collector anymore. please could you take a look at this thank you

@Legion its a known issue with other outdated mods causing random build bugs like this, just an ark thing affecting mods everywhere. You will need to delete all old files in your client AND server's ark/shootergame/content/mods/ directory. Then after redownloading new files to your client, copy all the files back to that server directory.

I'm going to put this in here, and I'm not sure whether it matters or not, but I have the idea that the Dino Overhaul doodoo has a problem. I've had the replace both the doodoo collector as well as the thatch distributor when the collector got the apex crap.

As I said, I'm not 100% sure, it might just be me having destroyed all my compost bins, but it feels like something wrong there. I have 2 rainbow crap in my collector after I replaced everything, and it seems to work fine...

Haha :) I'm sorry. I have no idea how to explain it without the steam filter constantly kicking in.

The Dino Overhaul mod has some extra 'levels' in dinos. Normal, Apex, Alpha, Mega. The apex dinos drop special dung with interesting colours, which is edible and gives you a rainbow effect.

I have the feeling this interferes with the distribution to compost bins since I have to pick up and replace the gatherer to get things working again.

Not sure if you have a local test server that you can try this on, and it's a problem that's not easilly replicated, but just wanted you to know so that if you get people with strange problems, this might be one of the causes.

I don't use that mod nor do i intend to. It should still work with normal poop anyway.
And the reason why it's called an overhaul means its unlikely to stack with other mods.

A small matter, but the egg collector doesn't work with dimetrodons? Probably because the eggs are always under their little dimetrodon butts? I'm guessing that if the egg can't be "seen" it can't be collected :(

...guess our only option is to put the dimes on wander?

PS: great mod, and many thanks!
