Functionallity check before buying it
I would be willing to buy one if it had and added functionality besides beiing a sandayna , something like a crossbreed between a sandayna and a companion that helps in fights aka : covering your tenno ass with some defensive weapon a mellee whip perhaps as its tail or apendages ( seems logic if it attaches to a host that it would want to keep the host alive :steamhappy: )

Hahaha I'd love that too! That's a fun idea!

That'd be cool, if only DE would implement it.

arcane grace? idk

Perhaps you can equip it instead of a companion and it gives a flat armor boost?

Well, the armor class is nearly useless by itself. I mean look at Valkyr... Highest armor in the game, and STILL one of the squishiest, because she doesn't have the health or shields to compensate. Aside from game talk, fantastic work on this. I would happily purchase this. :D

Well she does have 66% damage reduction at base and can be raised to 80% with mods, Her health gets to be roughly 1000 or so, meaning her health roughly = 5000 when properly moddded not to mention she has invincibility and life steal. She doesn't seem very squishy at all to me.

Actually with a proper warcry and proper modding valkyr can achieve something in the order of 20,000 effective helath. So no she isn't one of the squishiest. By that logic every frame except chroma and trinity is 'one of the squishiest' frames in the game. Trinity is only there by virtue of a loophole in how blessing and quick thinking work.

i would like to have sumfin like "arcane spores" to go wif this, when host's health takes damage, there ill be a **% chance that the lamprid releases spores that will infect any organics and give them a viral proc. i would really love to see that~

Unfortunately, having any cosmetic item provide innate abilities like that is more or less considered overpowered; if it had abilities like that, then noone would ever wear any other Syandana again; this is similar to the reason they discontinued the original, 'Arcane' helmets that had innate stat buffs/debuffs, because they wanted players to be able to choose visual designs according to their own aesthetics rather than using a helmet merely to squeeze out every little advantage (having said that, I do love my vast collection of Arcane Helms since I've been playing the game since the Steam Launch) however, the idea of a symbiont companion is definitely a good one, perhaps they could design several infested variants, similar to a Sentinal or Kubrow, except that they don't have their own health bar, nor do they have ranged attack, or perhaps any attack at all; perhaps they merely offer bonus maximum health, but slowly drain off some of your health over time, or there could be Corpus variants that are mechanical in nature that boost shields, but drain energy slowly over time... Companions designed to bolster the user rather than act independently, with their own unique drawbacks compared to using a Sentinel or Kubrow. I heartily approve of the idea, just not of it being a Cosmetic Item such as a Syandana.

Im talking about arcane enhancements and not the syndana itself. Let the people have their dreams~

It should equip as a Syandana but remove the ability to equip a companion, but surround the player in a toxic AoE kind of thing like New Loka ancients that invade you. Both a gorgeous cosmetic and a useful companion.

Actually I think I get what stilbjorn is saying and I agree. If the ability of syndana is good or even op then all other cosmetics will be abandoned for it. On the other hand if the buff is bad and does remove your companion then no one will touch it with a ten foot pole. Let it be just another syndana that you can equip arcanes to.
