A Message to The Author!
I REALLY hate to be "That Guy" or seem "insensitive" because I'm really a well mannered and kind soul, but, I just can't see why an injured dog (Yes I had a family dog that had gotten cancer in their kidneys who later died @14 yrs and nearly killed me. It was a Choc lab named Jake and was a family dog as well as my fellow Waterfowl hunting partner. So, I DO know it hurts) would keep you from working on this. @Woeful Macabre: I feel your pain man. But I HAVE to tell you this: If your hurting from the animal in need, you HAVE to find ways to get out from under it and take your mind off of the worries. Real life is always first, but I can bet you $1million bucks that in working on this or any other type of mod, takes so much focus that you WILL forget about your pain! We ALL have to have our way to get away from the pain to recover.

So @woeful, IF you manage to read this, try and take your mind off the bad thing! This mod is literally the BEST and MOST useful mod out there for anything to do with admin work. If I had the focus and patience to do mod work, I would be right next to you in helping make this mod work.

NOW, I say all this, not because the mod is NOT working for me (because it works about 95% of the time for me just fine!) but because I have seen so many mods get lost. We all do it, we buy a game, fall in love with it, play the hell out of it, then get bored of it. Then we move onto another game. Forgetting about the past games like they never happened. Sadly it's just such a HUGE loss of talent and creativity! Like losing that teacher that has been there for 40 years and EVERYONE loves!


So @Woefule, PLEASE do NOT give up hope!!!!!! Do not abandon a mod that you have put together so VERY VERY well! So much time I can imagine you have spent on this! You guys REALLY should receive something from the game creators for making content for them that should have been there to begin with! But, that's just life I guess. You guys will have to survive on our LOVE and prayers!

Come back to use Woeful!

He hasn't really done much on this in the last few months but try to get the few functions he's added to actually work anyway. It was a submission for a competition and, if we're being honest, it's been dead since then.

OK, I hate to come across like a ♥♥♥♥♥, but OMG Undead.... you are acting like Woe is calling out sick from work or something. I ADORE ACM and i hope to see it back someday, but we are not OWED anything by the people that are making these Mods. They do it for FREE.

Its sad to see he is just going to let this die because he doesnt like something about a dev kit. but what ever all good mod owners give up and quit eventually anyway. Thanks while it was useful, Might as well take it off of steam workshop.

You might consider giving it to wild card and and see if theyll impliment it into the game or something, i mean as a sponsored mod, you dont have a choice to update it or not, you are obligated to keep it up lol, but it is what it is. Needless to say your decision to quit is a poor decision. Sorry Im not sympathetic. It is what it is.

Raven, Just to give you a fair heads up, when someone suffers a traumatic experience such as loss of family especially after sinking insane amounts of money into surgery all to find it failed to work, your mental state is not going to be something to judge on the outside from others nor would it be in working order to focus on a project that is very stressful, the amount of pressure he has on him at times from the community and himself and life along with it is immense, and if you feel that unplanned situations of that magnitude are not an excuse, and you expect rational decisions to be made that soon after, THAT is the decision I find poor, if the community would be supporting him and not expecting 'deadlines' or 'content' and pester him and critisim him the entire time, maybe he would have a better drive and reason to continue. Plus mental breakdowns cause people to say/act in ways beyond their norm. Anyone has the ability to come back and finish, but pushing and inflicting negative environemntal variables to suffering individuals isn't going to do anything positive, Human psychology is not so black and white.

Proven fact of phycology: Doing something that taked your mind completly off of the current subject that is causeing you pain and suffering, allows your brain chemisty to attempt to "rebalance" it'self.....I've had plenty of bad things happen in my life. I learned from each of them, it is BEST to take your mind off of it from time to time and allow yourself to heal.....

I don't know the hell someone abondones this when being payed THIS much......Thats about 3x more then what i make a month working my ass off on my feet all day!!!! Jesus @Puffy i did not even know that they did this! Who the hell can afford to pass this up??

Exacfly which is why he doesnt have a choice to throw a fit like a 2 year old, stomp his feet and quit.

Its, Immature.... and the crappiest part is no one can even begin to make another mod like this until he either gives it up to wild card, or finds a group of people capable enough to continue its development, or takes this one off steam, but it appears hes going to be an a - s - s - hole about it so, idk.

You know, it would be all good if he would just pass the mod along. But just up and leaving it and knowing that it is a VITAL mod for MANY MANY admins.....that's just being a Pr*ck.

There is barely anything in this mod since the rewrite that's all that helpful. Most of it can be done with console commands and the admin manager.

Exactly my thought, not to mention its a sponsered mod.

Because most server admins dont live on the computer, and even you can agree that it is an invaluable tool for server admins. Yes you can spend eeons typing sh*t in over and over, the question then becomes would you rather spend hours taking care of a simple problem or would you rather have the ability to jump in, take care of something in 5 mins for someone of your community and log off, allowing you to continue with your day outside of games?

For me I run a business. So i dont have time to spend an hour on a problem that took 5 minutes to solve with ACM.

Reguardless of whether his last update added more stuff or not doesnt take away from the sheer power of this mod. If he lost interest he 100% needs to turn it over as undead_bovin has stated.

If your talking about RCON, that is the biggest POS app there is. Not to mention it never has or ever will work correctly.
