missing bones

So im trying to rig the pelvis but when I do the other bones with the rig handle thingies the bones arent on the list! I even have a bone that isnt even on the model. It has spine0 and spine1 not spine 1 and spine 2. It doesnt even have pelvis on the list!!!

The tutorial doesnt help cause it's out of date.
