Omg yes, dealt with this just yesterday...worst experience yet!

Here's the story (or you can just skip the read) 4 of us in our tribe tried to take a 544 (regular) Valk down. 3 Of us died, myself included but I died twice. 1 tribe mate literally just tamed a Saber 5 min prior, this location is where the Valk appeared, and she lost her Saber, killed off her dragon, and then while running back her dragon died. Our leader got killed off her dragon, considered a bad ass battle dragon on our server, but did not lose her dragon thankfully. One other tribe mate did not get into the thick of it like we did enough to die and lose his things thankfully because he kinda just flew around making dive run style passes at the Valk. I however had no such luck. I am an aggressive playstyle type of guy so I flew head first into the Valk with my best dragon to shred it only to meet the same fate as my other tribe mates getting one shotted IMMEDIATELY off my dragon! All of us attacked at the same time so it wasn't something that threw up red flags for the others not to follow suit...from the first death we were all obligated to take it down to save our KIA's tames, which didn't want to follow for some reason ( on passive). So to make long story longer I hop on a 3rd in line dragon ( not wanting to risk my number 2) and went charging back into the fight but this time the mission was operation save the dragons, and we're all on Comms mind you...cussing the whole way there. So I show back up and am circling & whistling to no prevail. So I did what any sane person would do who's tames weren't heeding their call, I jumped down and tried to wrangle up the dragons one by one. Only I got ate the second I hit the ground cuz there was no clear shot in and nothing, I mean nothing would aggro this thing off our dragons.


One by one our dragons die, 2 of mine and 1 other...and the Saber but nobody cares about a dime-a-dozen cat but these dragons are bred and backup breeders. Well the one tribe mate who was basically like nuh uh not me decided to grab aggro now that it killed everything and everyone (me twice) and led the Valk to some known turrets in the area but apparently they weren't set on wild so that was a no go but the Valk started in on some things over there and got out of our hair for the time being. Meanwhile I hop on my tamed Valk (given to me a while back) and fly back cuz all 3 of our belongings are probably close to expiring at this point. So I do all that, grab it all and we all met up and divied it up properly.

Now you would think this nightmare was over and we would just go home defeated with tails tucked in but no...no this wasn't over yet. Valks are menacing to the right areas lol. So I go back home, which is next to my neighbors with the turrets mentioned earlier that my tribe mate led the Valk to. Well...the Valk never died and upon flying home I seen him just as he, the Valk, honed in on my base and all my tames!! So I had had it up to F#@$ING here with this thing by this point, let me tell ya! All call Neutral, then all call Attack my target....either this thing is going down or we will all burn in Fallen,Wyvern,Dragon fire together!!! The sky looked like that scene in Resident Evil when all of the crows were all burning spinning in a fiery circle in the sky...I had about 10 Wyverns of all types and a couple more dragons and a couple of high level alpha Wyv. They all went at it until the Valk finally died leaving behind only a few pieces of electronics (don't ask why lol). I lost 2 very low wyverns in that final skirmish, 1 of which was actually killed by my higher level poison wyverns AoE. Damn what a nightmare! Moral being....why? Why the hell are Valks one shotting people off their mounts? Not cool

yes i believe it is the lightning attack, it seems to be the last thing i see before being murdered off my mount lol

omg if you found a fix for this that would be amazing!

@nickbean417 I just tested and i didnt experience this. The valkyrie lightning attack did not kill me when i was riding a dino. The damage setting is already set to ignore riders too.

It could be old files affecting your server, i recommend delete the whole mod folder and files before redownloading.

Just had this thing happen to me as well.
The lightning attack killed me right on my dragon (was at like 99% health at the time). I just got oneshot with 2k health and 1800ish armor.

Can you double check about a possible fix for this? It does not seem to be a glitch only a few experience. If all things fail, just remove that attack meanwhile. Id hate to have to remove the mod due to a glitchy mob :-(
