Ferro Mag Helmet

SUGGESTION: Replace the pseudo-Tennobet script and you're golden.
I really like this helmet! This really is the best I've seen.

The only thing I would suggest is removing the pseudo-Tennobet script on the side of the helmet and replace it with a real inscription.

I second Dalmar`s idea. Real inscription would be superb.
a real inscription in tennobet, so translate it over, we have to keep in in the lore of the game, otherwize they probably wont take it.

Lore friendly or nothing.

Make it fit into the game better. I'd recomend "Ferro Mag" In the script. Here is a link to a translator http://clarvel.github.io/TennoTyper/ Type whatever and check the manual override to get your output. Good luck!

Good link.

I agree with dalmar. as someone who reads and writes tennobet, at first glance I couldnt tell that the inscription wasnt the official orokin script, but after dalmar pointed that out, I think that it would go a long way towards winning, if you altered the inscription to use the official alphabet. If you need a chart to help you do this, then heres a link to one on google. {LINK REMOVED}

winterturtle's link is good, but I found that you want to use it in combination with a chart like the one i mentioned, because if yu use english phonics with it, the translation will be wrong. for instance, if you type: "th" as in "the" or "those," it will give you the character for "th" as it sounds in the word: "thing." other than that i didnt run into any problems with it.

I don't think it should be the name of the helmet. A lot of the inscriptions on Tenno and Orokin stuff are significant and poetic - off the top of my head, "killing fields" (as in magnetic fields) occurred to me, or something similar that's evocative of the idea of a Warframe as both art and weapon

I would suggest something more obtuse and less suggestive, such as: "spun silk"

We should always leave the immagination to the decryptor in order to entice a sense of depth and intrigue. I hope the creator is actually taking note and this doesn't slip in without the proper Orokin language. I'll never buy this helmet otherwise.

The markings on the side of the helmet were never meant to emulate the orokin language, and were originally going to be simple painted lines like excalibur's mordred helmet. On the side 2 metal pieces there is orokin text that runs along the top. However, in the interest of time, I made the visor a single solid color and forgot to change the values of the text for the other textures, making it only visible on the diffuse.

I will have to wait and see what DE's policy for updating textures are. Until then, I am not allowed to change it now that the contest has ended.

I see what you're talking about, along the detached jaw-line pieces? Nice touch! I understand the other markings were never meant to emulate the language, but at a glance it definitely looks like its trying really hard to be just that. Which could easily be misinpterpreted by Warframe "decryption enthusiasts" such as myself.

On the flip side, this is a good opportunity to inscribe your own message. Let's just hope DE allows you to make minor changes before it goes in. :Grineer:

(I love when an artist uses diffuse to illuminate "hidden" features such as this.)
