My review
I will start by saying this map was truly amazing. I loved the references and easter eggs in the game. Me and my group of friends played it and it is really good for the first 2 levels, fair and simple feels like it could really be a map in left for dead 1. but during the lab, I wouldn't say it was hard nor like a "maze", but that part did find me and my group in a little trouble with our first 2 attempts of the level especially with the timed escape ending which I will admit was badass. It wasn't awful just a little tricky going by memory. Our real issues started with the silent hill level. It was clearly based off silent hill which I adore that series so it was a really nice touch to home for me. But it was really dark (as all lfd1 related things are) But with this darkness was this awful having to navigate not falling off, the level wasn't dark dark but our friend really struggled and as we kept saying "You messed up the level man". For some reason it was even more dark for him which isn't the map creators problem it's his stupid monitor that is the issue. But with that it does say that platforming and walking on random broken tiles forced to use pillars to walk on is quite hard. However on the finale it brings it back home with a really nice church survival part where you fight off zombies. It's easy and really hard to mess up and it's cool with the half life 2 blade machine used to kill zombies, And it's even more cool with the the 2 boomers, that made me and the group laugh. Overall I can tell alot of effort was put into this campaign and it's not the worst level design I have seen. But that part does end up making me and the gang feel dread and say "Ah man this part" instead of looking forward to it like the other parts. 4.5/5
