Realistic Thrusters (offset forces, NPCs unaffected)

Gyroscopes enable vanilla thrust, giving you the choice of both realistic and vanilla thrust.
This means that it would only affect ships without gyros.

I honestly think this mod (if this functionality was added) should be added to the game.
It wouldn't change anything important, since ships with gyros wouldn't change at all (exact same behaviour as vanilla is now) and you already have to use those to fly properly (which everyone does).
It would simply allow for another interesting type of movement; turning with thrusters.
In exchange for spending more time distributing the thrust, you'd have faster turning on large ships! (Imagine that the thruster on the thumbnail for this mod is the right side of the front, and it's a huge ship that is turning left)

I frankly think this is a great idea and the game would be a lot better with this kind of functionality.
It always bothered me that we even had to use gyroscopes to begin with, since they don't add anything besides an unnecessary step. (ships might as well turn fine without them, at least smaller ones, as far as game-mechanics are concerned)

You already seem to have disabled this mods functionality for NPC ships, so maybe disabling it for ships with gyros wouldn't be too difficult. Just a guess though, i have no idea :>
