None of the new aliens show in the final mission
When I play the final mission, I do not see any new aliens from that mod. Is something preventing this?

Although with some of the mobs in the mission, the new enemies may be too much.

I believe the game prevents it unless you edit the files of the final mission itself. The pods in that are fixed so you can't change it by changing enemy entries.
