Leaders in training during "important" missions
I don't know if this was a bug or a design oversight... but if the soldiers who are wounded can drag themselves out to the battlefield for that base defense mission (sure thats a spoiler, but thats such an XCOM tradition that it really isn't spoilery) then anyone in leadership training can get up from their desks and join the fight too, wouldn't you think?

I agree. The one leader I had last game spent 1/3rd of the game pre upgrade, 1/3rd of the game in training, and about half the remaining time in medbay. I think I only managed to take him on 2 missions as an actual Leader lol

We really need to have the ability to field them while they are in training like you can do with PSI troops.

You can reduce the time it takes to train a leader in the mean time until they find a way to fix that.

to do so :
1) Go to steamapps\workshop\content\268500\577517577\Config
2) Open the file named "XComLW_OfficerPack.ini"
3) Find "TrainingDaysForRank[x]= 4.0f" in which x is the rank number
4) Change 4.0 to the Value you want, I changed it to 2.0f
