XCOM 2
Long War Leader Pack
Leaders: Worth it?
While their abilities seem pretty neat, they take time to train. So there are several downsides.

1: Training time.
You're going to want to take your leader on as many missions as possible, so you're going to want to have them be a high-ranking valuable soldier. That means you'll have to take one of your best out of commission for a few days to train them, which risks the possibility of not having them on a mission.

2: Multiple leaders.
If your leader is going to be going on as many missions as possible, they're putting themself at great risk. There's a high possibility they may be injured for, depending on the difficulty, weeks at a time. What with this, you may want to have a back-up leader. However, you can only bring one per mission, so training up your back-up will require sacrifices.

3: This one's the kicker: 125 supplies.
It may not seem like that much, but 125 supplies can mean a lot. Depending on the difficulty level, it can take up to a month to earn, if you get unlucky and have to wait for the next supply drop. That means you're sacrificing something else in the 100-150 supply range for at least a month, which may be: a facility, a weapon, an armor, a facility upgrade, or 5-6 $25 meat-shields to replace your fallen A-team.

Given all these conflicts, is buying the leader station and spending the time to train up a leader really worth it? Discuss.
