Help with modding

Hi guys. I'm tryingto get some experience modding, and like in this mod, I'm trying to add new heroes to appear in the tournaments. But alas, my Heroes, despite looking stat and faction-wise just like Kradus, Xerina, and Dranton, NEVER appear in tounaments. Anyone know why? (I'm using Mourghs editor)
